Oct 23, 2016. #1. Fender USA maple necks are $499. Good quality construction, I would assume. Finished in polyurethane gloss. Fender knows how to make necks, been doing it since the last millennium. Fender name on the headstock. But I can get a Warmoth Stratocaster replacement neck, licensed by Fender, for about $250.

Mar 18, 2020. #3. I built a Warmoth Tele last summer. I went with a Wolfgang profile. A little meatier than Standard Thin on the thumb side (I'm guessing, matches 59), and a little thinner (I'm guessing, matches Standard Thin) on the finger side. I've never used an asymmetrical profile before and find I really like it.

Allparts necks are good necks, maybe a 'little' pricey if you pay retail (you can get more features and more custom options from usacg and warmoth for nearly the same price as allparts retail). But for quality, on the 2 allparts necks I've used, I've not been disappointed.

May 11, 2020 · Warmoth's "modern construction" necks are ultra-stable, regardless of the wood. It's a good design. I've got many necks here of a pretty wide variety of woods that just don't move on me, even after of years of use, and this is Michigan, where the temperature/humidity varies pretty widely over the seasons.
