HISTORIC OCCASION Yesterday pilgrims from the The Confraternity of St Ninian completed their 2017 Two Shrines Pilgrimage on foot from Edinburgh to St Andrews with a Mass at the ruined Cathedral of St Andrews. The form of the Mass was the same as it would have been up until the destruction of the Cathedral at the Reformation in 1560. One could not ignore the stunning symbolism of the Mass amidst the ruins.
