What's for lunch? In this video, we see a mule deer enjoying an afternoon meal. Mule deer (Odocoileus hemionus) are often considered to be "browsers" because they love to eat twigs, grasses, berries, and vegetative parts of woody plants. In the winter, mule deer switch to a diet of twigs from coniferous and deciduous trees.
